Timely Reminder

I wanted to share this small canvas with you today that I made as a part of one of the classes I have taken.  The image and color scheme are a copy, but the verse is personal to me.  I need to be re-grounded in scripture OFTEN.  I am so very blessed, and still I am more often focused on what I need to do, what I have failed to do, and what I am missing.  What a shame!  This season most of all, I am humbled and awed and what God HAS done, what He WILL do, and how SUFFICIENT He is!
I would love to give this canvas to anyone of you who is honest enough to say you need this reminder too!  Just leave a comment if you are interested and I would love to send you this as a Christmas gift :0).

  1. I love that Scripture (that font is delightful, is it handwritten?) If people don't think they need a reminder, they better think again! We need to crucify the flesh daily just to be imitators of God as His beloved children! You are a blessing to me, Marsha and I appreciate your honesty. We must keep our eyes and mind focused on Jesus and stay in the Word. To God be all the glory.

  2. Amen! We must be renewed by the washing of the Word; it is the only means by which the Lord "speaks" to us, and the only way in which we are fed. We are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds which is only done by immersing ourselves in Scripture, it is the only source of truth by which we are to guage all things and by which we are to live our lives. . .as Natalie said, crucifying the flesh, dying to sin, living in righteousness. . .yep, a sinner here, and you know some of my struggles.. . so very thankful for His mercies and His refreshing, encouraging, dividing Word. . .agree with Natalie, you are a blessing and a sweet, sweet fragrance!! SDG! ♥

  4. I start each day with scripture to get myself on the right path for the day and yet I still struggle many days, especially on rough days. Satan knows the areas where we are the weakest and attacks our minds in those areas. That's why scripture is so very important. It's one of our weapons against his attacks. I so appreciate that you share spiritually along with sharing your beautiful art work on your blog, Marsha. It's an uplifting place to visit. I love your latest canvas. Blessings and hugs!!!

  5. Your beautiful work grabbed my attention and brought me to your page! Friend, I have so missed you, but love hearing a word from you--always timely--isn't that how our God works?! Thank goodness, I'm forgiven, even when my priorities get out of whack and I am not joyful in hope or patient in affliction. God has brought me to the place where I can fully understand the need for faithful prayer. You helped along the way and I will always be grateful. Your creativity is smokin' good and I am proud to have been there when the "inkling" to craft grabbed you! --Christy
