Finished Journal Cover/Project...

Here is the finished cover for my journal project.  I have to say that this is far and away my favorite work.  It was a labor of love and I know that he will be blessed by the hours of thought, prayer and effort that went into this.  This deployment was unforeseen and unwelcome.  We both have to daily choose to view this separation in the right light.  I have seen the Lord at work in both of us individually sharpening and maturing us in faith.  He has also given us great joy in finding different ways to deepen our intimacy...choosing to encourage one another in love and unity despite the distance.  I left the back cover blank so that he could write in it in response to the pages I have made or whatever is on his heart and mind.  This will be a treasure for us both and I can't help but be so joyful that in this time of would be trial that the Lord is gracious to give us means to grow more in love with Him and each other.  I am including some sneaky peaks of the rest of the inside pages too (couldn't resist)!

  1. Delightful!!! Love the little peeks :-) Marsha, this is such a blessing for you to do for your husband. Even though on the natural end of things it doesn't look or feel like this is a good thing to be separated, God will reward you both as you keep focused on our King of Kings! Cyber hugs and affection to you dear sister. Praying for abundant grace to overwhelm you both as you are separated for a time. To God be all the glory.

  2. Your post moved me to tears, Marsha. What a beautiful testimony of what God can do when we allow Him to work in us.

Your journal cover turned out perfectly. Beautiful, but not too feminine. I loved being able to see the page peeks. They're fabulous! Mixed media is truly your niche.

    Blessings,
