Time flies....

Sorry I have been absent so long. As many times as I have moved in my life, one would think I'd be a pro--but I am not!  Each time there are new challenges and proverbial monkey wrenches thrown in just to keep life "interesting"!  It doesn't help that my darlin' hubby and I are a little cooky as well!  We decided for some strange reason to re-do several large pieces of furniture at the same time we were moving and he was prepping for deployment.  Maybe we were hoping to be so busy that we wouldn't have time to be sad...it worked!  I am mostly done (just two wicker kitchen chairs left to paint), and he is gone.  I hope to be back to getting creative and crafty and to blogging soon.  I would be lying to say that my heart is not heavy now after the whirlwind of shared activity to get "settled" before Chip left.  He is a gift from God in my life...we truly share one heart and it is aching already after one week.  I am truly missing my best friend and confidant even as I do trust in the sovereign Lord.  For those who are so inclined please pray for him, for us during his deployment.  Thanks, and I will start posting some furniture, craft room and project pics next week!

  3. Marsha I had already been praying as I had not seen any activity but I did know you were moving. Glad it is done and you are settling in as much as possible with your dear husband gone. I know it is not easy as I have been there myself, but with God's help it will go quickly and you can be at peace. My daughter's husband comes back in two weeks after being gone 7 months and she is getting excited. Blessings to you dear sister in Christ! More prayers coming your way!
