Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
There is a song by this title also and the chorus really seemed fitting here:
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water
I picked this verse weeks ago to go along with the bleach brush technique that I wanted to give a try. Wouldn’t you know that as the time drew closer, this would really apply to me?! I have been going through a fiery trial in the last week or so that has shaken me and caused me to take a deep, hard look at my faith. I am SO thankful for God’s word, for the finished work of the cross and for the Holy Spirit how ministers to me in time of need. This week’s challenge was right on time for ME…and I pray that you will be blessed in it too.

I have looked at this stamp for the longest time over at MFT, and finally just bought it. I don't have any girls and have no idea what I will use this card for...and that's kinda' the point. Sometimes crafting is just for enjoyment...I know shocking right? This silly little mouse in a tu-tu just makes me smile every single time I look at it. Maybe it's just the little girl inside of me that wanted to be a pretty dancer...or just memories of all the adorable little girls on the block at Ft Benning always playing dress up in their princess costumes. Whatever the reason, I just enjoy this image and this was a fun card to make. Last week was a bit of a bummer for me, so I am just thanking God for a beautiful day here inside and out...
A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you like it to!

This is the card I made for today's Clean and Simple Saturday challenge for CPC. Anyone can play along and post here. The idea is to use straight lines on your card in any creative way you chose. I used my MS score board to create the raised embossing to frame my focal point. I used Proverbs 3:5-8 as the verse that inspired me for today. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

CPC is still celebrating and having prizes to boot, so this is a card I made for sketch Tuesday. I just love embossing, ribbon and learning new cool techniques. I got to do all of that on this card, so it was a fun one for me. I like not having a sentiment on the front sometimes so that you can have a go to card if you need it kwim? Any-hoo, if you like this cool flower here is a link to the video tutorial for it by Becca Feekin. Of course her finished card is way better, but I am just happy that I got the flower to come out right!! Thanks for stopping by and hope to be posting more regularly now! In His grace--Marsha
