Phillipians 3:14

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

I made this card last night to try out a couple of items that I had not used yet. My favorite part of the card is the sign. The wood background stamp is so cool! Speaking of cool, my son saw this card and began lamenting that Christmas (along with the cooler weather and of course toys) is still so far away! I guess I'd better stick to fall and all purpose cards for a little while longer. I don't think I can deal with a September to December countdown!

I originally made this card for this week's PPA challenge...only to realize that I posted too late! Oh well, I am happy with the result anyway :o).
I found these cute pumpkins made from the small oval punch on Leenee' Pearson's web page at http://www.istampdou.com/blog/. For my card, I double layered them and ran the top layer through the cuttlebug before punching them. I also lightly sponged the edges to give them a more "ripe" look. The sentiment was a rub on from the Autumn Harvest sheets. All materials except background dsp are SU 1990-2009 products. I am making a concious effort to count my blessings these days...hope you are too :-). Thanks for stopping by!

Today's card started with an apple theme...hence the color scheme. As is usually the case for me, I changed directions a few times before completing this card. It was not at all what I started out to make...but, I think it's kinda' cute and I hope you do too. I am done at any rate, and it feels good just to get something made! Thanks for looking :-).
